Custom Woodwork NYC, Inc., is a second-generation company based in New York City, specializing in custom cabinets, handmade wooden furniture, doors, steps, and just about anything made with wood. If you have an idea of what you want to create, we will step in and bring that idea to life.
Having seen the products of our competitors, we are comfortable in stating that our custom wooden creations are made of better materials. By working with superior plywood and better grades of wood, we are able to produce a higher grade product. We believe our difference comes from seeking perfection, being trustworthy, finishing our projects on time, and working closely with our customers every step of the way.
The experience of woodworking came from our founder's father in Hungary, where he established his own company more than 30 years ago. Under his father's tutelage, Istvan Nemeth learned how to create beautiful pieces of wood. He later attended school in Hungary to learn carpentry.
After graduation, Istvan worked in his father's shop before emigrating to the United States to continue his woodworking career in 2008. After expanding his skills, he used more than 20 years of experience to establish his own business.
